Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pensacola, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 7,200-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project scope includes the new construction of a soccer field, bleachers, a locker room and restroom building and a second building with concession space, restrooms and a press box on 6.7 acres at 1030 and 1034 Underwood Avenue. As of July 5, 2024 the project is in planning stage and seeking preliminary site plan approval from Escambia County. The Development Review Committee discussed the project at a June 12 2024 pre-application meeting. State funding has been vetoed. Information regarding the architect, general contractor and method of selection has not been disclosed.
