Contractor shall possess at the time of its bid, the following classification(s) of Contractor's California State license: B, C-39. Bonds. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the Contractor will, within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed or other direction, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the Services as stipulated in the bid. In addition, a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful Bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The scope of work for the Project is as set forth below: Project Description: This project, located at Esqueda Elementary School in Santa Ana, CA. Summary Scope of Work: Water test all downspouts with a district representative present Notify the district in writing if there are any clogged, slow draining, or leaks in any of the downspouts Remove single ply membrane, gutter fill, external gutter, downspouts, and all other material associated with prior repairs over the gutter systems Seal holes with polyurethane sealant matching or painted to match metal panels Remove the metal fascia cover in front of the gutter and set aside for re-installation Clean the gutter system of all debris and remove repair build up over joints Prime rusted areas and install a 40 mil high temperature self-adhering membrane across the bottom of the gutter extending up sides 3" Install clad metal inserts extending 3" down into the downspout outlets Set insert flange in polyurethane sealant and secure with sheet metal screws Install 10' clad metal inserts through the base of the gutter and extending 3" up each side Weld the connections together with TPA cover strip At the front of the gutter install a TPA strip welded to the clad metal and extends up and over the top of the gutter at least 4" At the back of the gutter install a TPA strip welded to the clad metal and extends up 1/2 " below the metal roof panels Install a termination bar secured at 6" oc through butyl tape at the vertical edge of the back TPA strip Cover the top of the termination bar with polyurethane sealant Re-install metal fascia cover Seal fastener heads with polyurethane sealant matching or painted to match fasci *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
