The objective of the project is to provide redundancy to the pipeline transmission system serving SFPUC's Stanford Heights Reservoir and improve water quality to pipelines at the end of the Sutro Reservoir pressure zone. The work to be performed under this contract includes the installation of 12-inch ductile iron pipe on Parnassus Ave. from Stanyan St. to 6th Ave., on 6th Ave. from Judah St. to Warren Dr., on Lawton St. from 7th Ave. to Funston Ave., on Funston St. from Lawton St. to Aloha Ave., on Aloha Ave. from Funston Ave. to 15th Ave., and 8-inch ductile iron pipe replacement on 11th Ave. from Kirkham St. to Lawton St., and on Kirkham St. from 6th Ave. to 7th Ave.. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 14.00%. The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with certified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs. The subcontractor participation requirement is set below 20% as this contract includes Contractor procurement of pipeline materials to be installed within the project limits. Pipeline procurement is through a non-LBE supplier and therefore reduces the overall LBE availability on this contract. SFPUC-LBEs cannot be counted towards meeting the LBE subcontracting requirement(s). A Class "A" California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing. Pre Bid Meeting Description: Attendance of remote attendees will be completed at the end of the pre-bid meeting.
