Site work for a military facility in Calhoun, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.

The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Install perimeter fence and gates at Green River Lock and Dam #2 located at 695 W 1st ST Calhoun, KY 42327. The contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, equipment, personnel, and supplies necessary to install approximately 930ft of galvanized chain link fence with barb wire, remove one single swing gate, and install and two (2) 16ft double swing gates according to manufacturer's specifications, ASTM F969, ASTM F567, and ASTM F900 INSTALL CHAIN LINK FENCE Chain link fence final locations to be approved by TPOC and/or Lockmaster before construction begins. New chain link fence shall tie into existing chain link fence along access road and terminate at the tree line on the bank ofthe Green River. Fence shall be minimum of20ft away from marked boundary line. See attachment for approximate location, and approximate length. Contractor shall verify length and materials needed before ordering materials. FENCE SPECIFICATIONS A. Length offence is approximately 930ft. Contractor shall verify length prior to ordering materials. B. Fence shall be minimum 7ft tall. C. Mesh fabric shall be 2" 9ga galvanized finish. D. All fence ties shall be 9ga or larger and either galvanized or aluminum. E. Fence shall be topped with three individual strands of galvanized 12 14 gauge four-point barb wire across the entire length offence and extending outward at a 45-degree angle. F. All posts shall be schedule 40 galvanized steel pipe. a. Top rail shall be minimum 1 5/8" O.D. b. Terminal/End/Comer posts shall be minimum 3" O.D. c. Line posts shall be minimum 2 1/2" O.D. d. Gate post shall be minimum of4" O.D. G. All Hardware shall be schedule 40 galvanized. Post and line caps shall be installed as necessary to prevent water intrusion. H. All posts shall be set in concrete at minimum depth of48". Concrete shall be crowned above ground level to shed water away from post. I. Posts shall be equidistant at a maximum of 10ft apart. J. The fence shall be constructed with a maximum of 3" clearance to the ground and fitted with a bottom tension wire to prevent intruders from pulling up the fence. K. All fencing materials must be submitted to and approved by TPOC prior to purchasing REMOVE SINGLE SWING GATE AND INSTALL TWO (2) DOUBLE SWING GATES - GATE REMOVAL A. Contractor shall remove single swing gate assembly as indicated in attachment below. Gate assembly shall be returned to lockmaster for future use. LIFT STATION ACCESS GATE A. See attached for approximate location. Final location to be approved by TPOC and/or Lockmaster before installation. B. Contractor shall furnish and install manual 180 swing gate meeting ASTM F900 requirements and install according to manufactures recommendations. C. Gate shall be manual double swing, with a minimum of 16ft between gate posts. D. Hinges shall be made ofmalleable iron or pressed steel. E. Gate fabric and barb wire shall be the same as specified for fence. F. Gate latch shall be secured by padlock. Padlock to be supplied by Lockmaster. G. Gate frames shall be assembled with adjustable truss rods minimum of 5/16" in diameter to prevent sagging ofmore than 1% ofgate width. ROAD ACCESS GATE A. See attached for approximate location. Final location to be approved by TPOC and/or Lockmaster before installation. B. Contractor shall furnish and install manual 180 swing gate meeting ASTM F900 requirements and install according to manufactures recommendations. C. Gate shall be manual double swing, with a minimum of 16ft between gate posts. D. Gate shall be constructed ofround tubular steel; hinges shall be made ofmalleable iron or pressed steel. E. Gate stop with latching device shall be installed to manufacturers recommendations. F. Gate stop shall be installed parallel to the road, and in line with gate post to prevent over-travel of gate, and to hold gate in open position to prevent unintentional swinging. G. Gate shall be Safety Yellow in accordance with ASTM A780. H. Gate posts shall be constructed ofround tubular steel and sized to prevent outer member sagging by more than 1% of gate width. I. Gate posts shall be in concrete footers to a minimum depth of48". J. Gate latch shall be secured by padlock. Padlock to be supplied by Lockmaster. K. Contractor shall submit gate specs and color sample for approval before purchasing equipment. MBE (7%), WBE (6.9%), SBE (100%)
