Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY Township Line Park Pickleball & Basketball Court Improvements Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Township of Logan in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Township of Logan in a lawful manner. The contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary moneys to do the work have been provided by the Township in a lawful manner. The award shall further be subjected to the securing of necessary State, Federal or Local permits governing the work. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.(New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. S12101, et seq.). The contractor is further notified that he must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid. Public Works Contractor Registration Act and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with the act. The work for this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following major work items: 1. Remove existing asphalt basketball court at full depth. 2. Remove existing asphalt pickleball court at full depth. 3. Remove existing pickleball court 8’ high chain link fence. 4. Remove existing pickleball court 10’ high masonry wall 5. Remove existing pickleball court concrete pads. 6. Remove existing basketball asphalt walkway portion. 7. Remove existing pickleball asphalt walkway portion. 8. Installation of 1.5" thick hot mix asphalt 4.7L64 surface course, as indicated on the plans. 9. Installation of 2.5" thick hot mix asphalt 19M64 base course, as indicated on the plans. 10. Installation of 2" thick hot mix asphalt 9.5M64 base course, as indicated on the plans. 11. Acrylic resurfacing, color coating and line striping of asphalt basketball and pickleball courts. 12. Installation of new 10’ high vinyl chain link fence, gates, and park benches with concrete pads, as indicated on the plans. 13. Installation of new 8’ high chain link fence windscreen, as indicated on the plans. 14. Install new complete pickleball net systems. 15. Topsoil and seeding. 1.03 All related incidental work, including traffic control, dust control, soil erosion control, clearing, cleaning and restoration. 1.04 The contractor is responsible for the location of all utilities and for scheduling all work involved with utilities.
