Glass Replacement & Repair Services for seven public housing properties and other assisted units owned and operated by the RHA. The RHA intends to select a vendor to provide Glass Replacement & Repair Services to seven public housing properties and other assisted properties owned and operated by the RHA. Question Deadline 08/08/2024 at 4:00 PM PT RFP must be submitted in writing directly to the RFP Coordinator Amber Salcido | Project Coordinator Email: asalcido@renoha.org 1525 E 9 th Street | Reno, NV 89512 Scope of Work 1) Contractor will respond to RHA requests within 48 hours for the repair or replacement of windows or glass doors as directed by written requisitions. 2) Contractor agrees to occasionally pick up windows for repair or replacement at the work site at no additional cost to the RHA. 3) Glass that is ordered by the contractor must be received within ten business days. 4) All materials are warranted for up to one year from the time of installation. 5) The contractor agrees to measure the size of each window. These measurements are the responsibility of the Contractor, and the RHA is not responsible for errors in measurements. 6) All glazing shall be accomplished per manufacturer's specifications. Use of silicone for glazing bead, vinyl glazing channel, etc. WILL NOT be accepted. 7) Contractor agrees to perform said services in a safe and workman-like manner to the satisfaction of the RHA. 8) Contractor agrees to perform said services without unduly interfering with the use and enjoyment of the property by other residents of said projects. 9) The contractor will report any damage to window frames and screens prior to commencing work on such items to RHA personnel. 10) Contractor must contact the work order desk 30 minutes prior to arrival to arrange access to each unit, and again when work is completed. Keys WILL NOT be assigned to the Vendor. 11) Maintenance personnel assigned to the site will inspect and approve the work by signing a copy of the invoice, receipt, or the requisition given to the Contractor. Locations of Work - Public Housing a) Mineral Manor - 144 single-story duplex units located at 1525 East Ninth Street, Reno, NV 89512 b) Tom Sawyer Village - 100 single-story units located at 2565 Tom Sawyer Drive, Reno, NV 89512 c) Silverada Manor - 150 single-story units located at 1400 Silverada Boulevard, Reno, NV 89512 d) Essex Manor - 106 single-story duplex units located at 7760 Carlyle Drive, Reno, NV 89506 e) Myra Birch Manor - 56 two-story townhouse units located at 3585 Mazzone Avenue, Reno, NV 89502 f) John McGrawCourt - 34 single-story units located at 2455 Orovada Street, Sparks, NV 89431 g) Stead Manor - 68 two-story townhouse units located at 4932 Bravo Avenue, Reno, NV 89506 Locations of Work - Non-Public Housing a) Silver Sage Court - 16 single-story units located at 2455 Orovada Street, Sparks, NV 89431 b) Yorkshire Terrace - 26 single-story and 4 two-story duplex units located at 7900 Chapman Place, Reno, NV 89506 c) D&K Horizons - 4 duplex units located at 1225-1227 Carville Drive, Reno, NV 89512 d) Pilgrim Rest - 7 single-story units located at 1325 Hillboro Place, Reno, NV 89512 e) Willie J. Wynn - 44 single-story units located at 1202 Hillboro Place, Reno, NV 89512 f) Any other properties purchased or managed by Reno Housing Authority during the term of this contract.
