The College of Western Idaho is building a new 35,000sf building to serve as its main gateway to the Nampa Campus. This building will contain CWI's One Stop Services (Registration, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Counseling), event space, bookstore and library tutoring services. This project is funded with PBFAC funds as well as CWI development funds. DPW is coordinating. This team is currently working through the Design Development phase of the CWI Building Project. CWI wants to contract with an Owner Representative to represent CWI's interest in the construction of the building and provide construction management services. Once selected, the Owner's Representative will be responsible for design development, and review of construction documents regarding building. Responsibilities also include assistance with obtaining required licensing and permit approvals and construction administration responsibilities. Cost estimating will be required at the end of each phase to assist CWI in scoping decisions. Owner's Representative services include onsite observation of construction site during construction phase and review of site planning. A total project budget of approximately twenty-one million seven hundred thousand dollars ($21,700,000) has been established for construction of the building. The estimated project completion date is August 2026.
