Work includes clearing and grubbing, crack repairs, asphalt overlay, pavement repair, installation of wood bollards, and site restoration. All lines shall be quoted. All bids must have the required paperwork and bid guaranty attached with this e-bid in order to be deemed responsive. If you are e-bidding and are using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The bid guaranty may be a bid bond or a certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank. To the extent any work covered by a Contractor’s construction contract for the Project entails work beyond the historical definition of “construction work,” including but not limited to off-site fabrication, assembly, insulation, skids, modules, manufacture and related preparatory work, all Contractors agree to pay their employees not less than the wage and fringe benefit rates set forth in the applicable local collective bargaining agreement. Any such work to be subcontracted shall only be subcontracted to contractors who pay their employees for such work at wage and fringe benefit rates not less than those set forth in the applicable local collective bargaining agreement. all successful bidders are required to comply with the Toledo Municipal Code and Toledo Administrative Policy No. 13, which creates a goal-oriented program to meet and/or exceed a level of 15% Minority Business Enterprise participation in construction projects and a level of 21% Minority Business Enterprise participation in HUD-assisted projects. THIS PROJECT IS FOR THE TRAIL RESURFACING OF THE EXISTING 1O-FOOT WIDE ASPHALT WALKING PATH AT HIGHLAND PARK. WORK INCLUDES PAVEMENT CRACK REPAIRS, ASPHALT OVERLAY, WOOD BOLLARDS, AND SITE RESTORATION.
