Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wenatchee, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Installation of Generators at Critical Water Systems. The Purpose of the Project is to Support the Acquisition and Installation of a Total of 5 (Five) Emergency Back-up Generators at Critical Water Facilities in the Lake Wenatchee Area of Chelan County, Wa. This Proposal Will Ensure Uninterrupted Water Availability in These Unincorporated Areas During Natural Disaster Events That Result in Power Loss. This Proposal Will Aid in Community and Infrastructure Protection While Directly Addressing Priority Action Items and Objectives Outlined Within the Local Chelan County Multi-jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (Cchmp). The Proposed Action Includes: the Purchase of Five Propane Fueled Emergency Back-up Generators and the Installation of Automatic Transfer Switches at Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue Station 91, Kahler Glen, Ponderosa Community Club, Tall Timber Ranch and Tall Timber Hoa Water Facilities Within or Operated by the City of Leavenworth. An on-site Fuel Source, Concrete Pad, Security Fencing and a Weather Enclosure Would Also Be Established for Each Generator as Part of the Proposed Action. Comments Concerning the Proposed Action Will Be Accepted From the Affected Public; Local, State and Federal Agencies; and Other Interested Parties in Order to Consider and Evaluate Alternatives and the Environmental Impacts of the Proposed Action.
