The project scope of work includes the reconstruction of seven taxilanes and GA apron, installation of taxilane and taxiway pavement markings and the replacement of up to 5 culverts and other drainage improvements. In accordance with RCW 42.56.100 and Port of Grays Harbor Resolution 2973, the Port makes the following rule: Public Bid Guidelines require that the Port of Grays Harbor maintain the integrity of official bid documents sets, provide swift response when incorporating addenda changes, and communicate in a singular, fair, and equitable manner to registered bidders. This process would interfere with the Ports obligations to maintain the integrity of the bid records if the Port were required to relinquish control over the bid documents during the bidding period. For this purpose, The Port of Grays Harbor has designated of Washington {BXWA) as the official source of bid packages, which insures that all bidders receive complete documentation, including all addendum, changes, and clarifications. BXWA provides prime bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and other interested parties, virtual free-of-charge access to a complete set of project bid documents, including the ability to download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and free access to an on line digitizer/take-off tool. This contract will be funded, in part, by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. As such, it will be subject to federal requirements. The DBE goal for this contract is 5.7%.
