The Work of Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes Intervention. Two separate bids required. Question Deadline 06/12/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents must be submitted to the City Procure Ware website by online.The City will issue written clarifications or interpretations by Addenda online at the City of Waterbury Procure Ware website not later than 2:00 PM June 14, 2024 be binding. Oral and other clarifications or interpretations will not be binding and will be without legal effect. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bids in excess of $50,000.00 be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Bid Price. Bids must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope and plainly marked with the name of the Project Title The Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes Intervention 27 Mitchell Avenue and shall contain the name and address of the Bidder on the envelope. The Bidder to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor is only to provide pricing for those items identified on the attached Scope of Work. The Scope of work shall be prioritized by the Waterbury Healthy Homes Program, it maybe that not all line items will be performed in the Scope of Work. The Waterbury Healthy Homes Program has the option ofselecting some or all ofthe items in the scope ofwork. There is a separate Healthy Homes Scope of Work table provided in this plan identifying items that are the Homê/Building Owners responsibilities. This Table does not include items that the Waterbury Healthy Homes Program excluded from the contactors Scope of Work. Refer to the Contractors Scope ofWork for excluded items that will ultimately become the Home/Building Owner's responsibilities.
