Saving Project...

Renovation of a residential development in Thomasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Project GA06P024001 (41 dwelling units and 1 Community Building): Replace existing central gas furnaces/cooling coils with electric heat pumps. Replace existing gas ranges with electric ranges. Ranges will be furnished by the Owner and installed & tested by the Contractor. Upgrade the electrical system as required. Provide new exhaust fans in bathrooms. Existing gas water heaters shall remain. All buildings are 1 story and are located on one site in Thomasville, Georgia. A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the HousingAuthority, orsatisfactorybond executed byan acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Document Note: No partial sets will be issued. Shipping charges are in addition to deposit. Checks shall be made payable to the Thomasville Housing Authority.
