The Work to be performed within sixty-five (65) working days from the date of Notice to Proceed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidential thereto for: Construction to complete multi-use path pedestrian facilities along the east side of 91st Ave SE. This work shall also include curb and gutter, driveway restoration, ADA compliant ramps, stormwater conveyance revisions, channelization, pavement restoration, landscaping, tree removal, and all related Work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All Work performed on the project will be subject to State of Washington prevailing wage rates. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the amount of such bid proposal. Make checks payable to the City of Lake Stevens. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Lake Stevens. The City of Lake Stevens reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the time set for the bid opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said contract award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days.
