Georgetown Tank to Canal Lane ARP Main Replacement Project sealed bids will be received by Ramsey Water Company for the purchase and delivery of the materials associated with a new 20-inch transmission main project. The project is called the "Georgetown Tank to Canal Lane ARP Main Replacement Project." The project is located north of Georgetown, Indiana in Floyd County and involves the materials necessary to replace the existing 10-inch transmission main from the Ramsey Water Company Georgetown Tank to Canal Lane with approximately 2,200-feet of new 20- inch CL350 DI Pipe. The existing main will be cut and capped and abandoned in place. Approximately 200-feet of 10-inch DI Pipe, 300-feet of 6-inch DI Pipe, and 300-feet of 2-inch PE Pipe, along with numerous fittings and valves, are also included in the project to reconnect the new transmission main to the existing water system. The bids shall be unit price for all materials shown on the bid form. Materials shall comply with the specifications and alternates shall be submitted for approval prior to submitting a bid. Bid forms shall be filled out in their entirety and shall include the manufacturer and lead time for each item. The qualified supplier to whom the work is awarded shall furnish, within ten (10) days after the date of said contract award and before commencing work, certificates of all insurance required by the General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal, or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposals as may seem desirable, and to waive any, and all informalities in bidding. A Any proposal may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of proposals or authorized postponement thereof. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted.
