Renovation of a municipal facility in Middletown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Installation of a New Roof for Building A at the Town Hall Government Center The Town of Wallkill is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to furnish and install one (1) new 60 Mil. Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Roofing System. The specifications are as follows: Furnish all necessary labor and material for the following work; New York State Prevailing Wage Rates Apply. The building is approximately 25,000 sq. ft. Remove all existing EPDM roofing and leave the existing ISO where possible. Install new white 60 mil TPO roof system mechanically attached using Rhino Bond system in accordance with manufacturer's specification. Replace the existing metal 2-piece system along the entire perimeter with a new 2-piece edging system. The under piece to serve as the termination strip with the TPO fully adhered to it and top piece to be finish piece being face fastened at 2-foot intervals around the entire edge. Install all new TPO pitch pockets and fill with pourable sealers. Install a new TPO walk pad at the roof hatch around HVAC units. All remaining roof top units, skylights, curbs, pipes, penetrations, etc. to be flashed to current heights as required and according to manufacturer's specifications. There are eight (8) roof drains on the roof. If necessary, remove existing drains and install new OMG Hercules drains (size to match existing) complete with 4'x4'sump with aluminum drain covers, flashed with TPO according to manufacturer's specification. Please provide a time and material cost for this work should it be necessary. The vendor agrees to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, due upon notification of the award. "The cost of the Performance Bond will be the responsibility of the awarded firm. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in a proposal when to do so would be to the advantage of the Town or its taxpayers. Proposals that contain conditions or limitations to the requirements set forth in the RFP may be considered non-responsive and rejected. Question Deadline 06/14/2024 As of the issuance date of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and continuing until 48 hours prior to the time for submitting proposals has expired, the Town will provide relevant information as necessary for all Vendors to familiarize themselves with the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
