Renovation of a conference / convention center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 68,000-square-foot conference / convention center.

The City of Grand Forks is requesting qualifications for a Construction Manager at-Risk (CMaR) for the following project: Renovation of existing Conference Center at the Alerus Center. The project area is approximately 68,000 square feet and will have a construction budget of $5.5 million. As approved by the Alerus Center Commission, the delivery method for this project will be CmaR. As part of this project, the CMaR duties and responsibilities will include, without limitation, the following: the CMaR will work with the design team during the planning and design phases of the project, the CMaR must enter into a contract with the City for the general construction bid package of the project which includes a guaranteed maximum price, and the CMaR must enter into contracts with subcontractors and suppliers for the actual construction of the project. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any and all proposals, and to modify or cancel this RFQ *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
