As of 8/7/2025, this project has been canceled and will be rebid in the future. HCTRA is seeking qualified firms to provide the professional services as outlined in the Specifications. The work to be performed by the Engineer for the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) under this contract shall consist primarily of providing engineering services for the preparation of schematic & PS&E drainage reports for the proposed widening of Hardy Toll Road from South of I-610 to I-45 (approximately 22 miles), Sam Houston Tollway Northeast from I-69 to US 90 (approximately 13.25 miles) and Hardy Downtown Connector from I-610 to Downtown (approximately 3.2 miles). The project limits cross the following watersheds, White Oak Bayou, Hunting Bayou, Buffalo Bayou, Greens Bayou, Cypress Creek, San Jacinto River, Carpenter's Bayou, and Spring Creek.
