As of June 6, 2024, no bids received for the project. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Owner will receive sealed Bids for furnishing of all materials and labor for the Wastewater Treatment Lagoons Project, Ogden, Champaign County, Illinois. The Owner is: Village of Ogden 101 West Main Street Post Office Box 159 Ogden, Illinois 61859 Phone: 217-582-2030 Fax: 217-582-2515. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, bank cashier's check, or properly certified check in the amount of $12,500.00. A Contract Bond in the total amount of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Project Description: The Project consists of renovations of the Ogden Wastewater Treatment Plant Filter Lagoon and Effluent System. The project includes removal of sludge materials, removal and replacement of rock filter materials, replacement of discharge piping, construction of a filter chamber and construction of an aeration chamber, restoration of disturbed surfaces, along with other miscellaneous and incidental activities. The Contractor shall be required to provide certificates of insurance as indicated in the documents. The Contractor will be required to comply with all Federal, State and Municipal laws and regulations, including those related to discrimination, prevailing wage, safety, bid-rigging, human rights, preferential employment of Illinois labor and equal opportunity employment. The Village of Ogden reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities or inconsistencies in the bids, to reduce the scope of work to accommodate the project budget, to accept any proposals which it deems most favorable, or to continue the letting from time to time as deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Bids may be held by the Village of Ogden for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Payment for each set shall be made in currency or by check, bank draft, or money order payable to Berns, Clancy and Associates. Each such payment will not be refunded. Partial sets of documents will not be provided.
