Renovation of a multi-residential development in White Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

For furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all work for: CFP 2019 Modernization Work for the White Plains Housing Authority @ Winbrook Apartments (NY42-0006). Bids must be submitted on the proposal form(s) furnished and from the specification book. The Non-Collusive Affidavit must be completed and a deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid is required . This deposit shall consist of a HUD Approved Bid Bond, Sureties acceptable to the Federal Government, or Certified Check payable to the WHITE PLAINS HOUSING AUTHORITY. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with bid will result in automatic disqualification of bid. A Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond is required for an amount not less than 100% of the bid price. Packages containing bids must be sealed, identified by Contract name and number, and addressed to WHITE PLAINS HOUSING AUTHORITY; 223 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.; White Plains, NY 10601. BIDDERS are advised to carefully review the provisions of 5 (a) and (b) of Representation, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders, Public and Indian Housing Programs, HUD-5369A. White Plains Housing Authority Goal: The White Plains Housing Authority has adopted a goal of awarding a portion of the dollar value of the total of the modernization contracts, to be awarded during subsequent FFYs to Local Established Minority Business Enterprises and will take appropriate affirmative action to assist resident controlled and womens business enterprises under 24 CFR 968,110(b). The right is reserved as the interest of WHITE PLAINS HOUSING AUTHORITY may require, to revise or amend the plans and/or specifications prior to the date set for opening bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by addenda to the advertisement. All inquiries or questions must be received no later than 4:00 pm local time on June 24, 2024 The WHITE PLAINS HOUSING AUTHORITY, in order to promote its established Affirmative Action Policy invites sealed bids from minority groups. This Affirmative Action Policy regarding sealed bids and contracts applies to all persons without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, age or sex, or handicap. Attention is called to the provision for Equal Employment Opportunity and payment of no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of Sixty (60) days after the opening of bids without the consent of the WHITE PLAINS HOUSING AUTHORITY. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any bids received.
