Seal small openings in fire separations using a fire sealant; (See details in the statement of work document)
The work also consists of:
.1 Putting in place all the required means of protection in order to preserve all the existing elements remaining in place during the work, including in particular the interior fittings, exterior arrangements, all existing equipment on the pools;
.2 To put in place all means of protection, including covered passages, in order to protect users, occupants and visitors who wish to access the building or circulate there;
.3 If required, coordinate with the responsible authorities and implement measures to obstruct both automobile and pedestrian traffic, if required;
.4 To restore any work damaged during this work. bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable letter of credit made available and issued by a financial institution authorized to carry on business in Canada as a Schedule I or II chartered bank, in an amount equivalent to at less 10% of the tendered price and which will be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days after the closing date. A bond agreement indicating that the insurance company, in accordance with section 5.18.1, will provide contractual security which will include a 50% performance bond and a labor and payment bond materials in relation to the work of 50% of the tendered price or confirmation from a Schedule I or II chartered bank that an irrevocable standby letter of credit in an amount equal to 50% of the tendered price will be provided.
