The City of Gatlinburg is accepting proposals for the providing of waterless fire suppression systems in three (3) locations in the Gatlinburg City Hall Complex located at 1230 East Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. These are areas containing a significant concentration of electronic and computer related equipment that would be damaged by a traditional water-based suppression system. Scope of work / project details; Provide alternates to water-based system that is presently in place in all three areas noted above. It is preferred that the system not be a type the will requires the sealing off of the rooms/doors in the requested areas. The City would rather have a system installed that emits foam or similar substance that suppress a fire without damaging/destroying electronic equipment. Each Vendor may propose whatever non-water type system they recommend, and the City will decide which best meets its needs. A vendor can propose more than one type system. The Vendor shall supply a complete list of equipment/components associated with the suppression system. Times/dates of installation shall be coordinated with City personnel.
