Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Northstar Community Services District (NCSD) will receive sealed bid proposals for furnishing all labor, materials and services for the 2024 Paving Project. The project includes grind and overlay of asphalt concrete pavement, full depth patching of asphalt concrete pavement (with minor regrading), restoration of surface utilities, installation of insulated piping system, restoration of landscape and hardscape associated with insulated piping trenching, and sewer replacement. Work is to be performed on Northstar Drive and surrounding areas in Truckee, CA. All Bidders must have and maintain the appropriate Class Contractor's License to be considered responsive. NCSD has determined that the contractor(s) shall have a Class A license issued by the California Contractors State License Board. All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to: Northstar Community Services District or by a corporate Surety Company Bid Bond for not less than 10 percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as well as a faithful performance bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The bonds shall be on the forms included in the Contract Documents. Any contractor who is awarded a public works project and intends to use a craft or classification not shown on the general prevailing wage determinations may be required to pay the wage rate of the craft or classification most closely related to it as shown on the general determinations effective at the time of the call for bids.
