Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Greenville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Provide material, equipment, and labor to renovate the batting cage area including but not limited to the demolition of existing equipment, installation of concrete pad, wood framing, painting and electrical upgrade at the Sports Connection. Under the base bid, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and material to demolish and remove the existing pitching machine equipment and concrete surfacing and for the installation of a new level concrete surface. Work shall also include a wood framed wall, and painting. Alternate #1 shall be to cover the existing exposed building insulation at the walls and ceiling. Alternate #2 shall be to provide electrical upgrades including lighting. All work shall be to industry standards. All OSHA requirements and other safety guidelines associated with the work shall be followed. The City of Greenville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities, and to accept the bid or any portion thereof that is deemed most advantageous to the City. Any bid submitted will be binding for 60 days after the opening. Liquidated damages will apply if not completed on time. All insurance policies shall be issued by responsible companies who are acceptable to the City and licensed and authorized to do business under the laws of North Carolina If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the bid package, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the City of Greenville in the amount of $100.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.
