Renovation of an educational facility in Laguna Hts, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.
**As of JULY 30, 2024 project was awarded to Mission Restaurant Supply, awarded amount is $$1,067,688.41.** Project Location: MARIA ALICIA P. MUNOZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1901 E Roosevelt Rd Donna, TX 78537 ITEM NO. 1 Manufacturer: Mod-U-Serve or Alternate Model: MCT-FT-MOD Quantity: TWO (2) each Dimensions: Drawings will be provided to awarded dealer Component: Serving Counter, Utility 1. Stainless steel continuous counter construction stainless steel sides, top & undershelf to accommodate heated five (5) well unit, 3' fill hose with blending valve and 4' quick disconnect hose; recessed pan top at hot wells; two (2) drop-in recessed frost top to accommodate one (1) 18" x 26" sheet pan; MCT-ELITE-ADJ Stainless steel custom adjustable sneezeguard with glass breath protector and top shelf; WITH HEAT LAMP AND LIGHTS PER DRAWING 2. Single Point connection with custom load centers 3. Courtesy outlet to accommodate existing milk cooler 4. Stainless steel skirting 5. 1 yr. parts and labor warranty standard ITEM NO. 2 Manufacturer: Mod-U-Serve or Alternate Model: MCT-CRSG-MOD Quantity: ONE (1) each Dimensions: Drawings will be provided to awarded dealer Component: Mobile Serving Cash Register Stand; Mobile modular 1. Single station, modified length/depth/configuration 2. Plastic laminate front panels, sides 3. Stainless steel counter top 4. Stainless steel trayslide at 29" AFF per drawings 5. 5" swivel casters (2 locking) 6. Cashier module to have a stainless-steel knee recess area, and fixed CPU shelf. 7. One (1) grommeted opening. 8. One (1) stainless steel cash drawer on slide out glides with cylinder lock. 9. MCT-SK Skirting, stainless steel ITEM NO. 3 Manufacturer: Mod-U-Serve or Alternate Model: MCT-EC-W Utility/Water Chase Quantity: TWO (2) each Dimensions: Drawings will be provided after award is made Component: Custom Stainless Steel Utility Chase furnished and installed by Mod-U-Serve ITEM NO. 4 TURNKEY FACTORY INSTALLATION OF SERVING LINE Serving Line Manufacturer will provide turnkey factory installation: 1. Mod-U-Serve is responsible for the fabricating of the product, including manufacturer provided or sourced components, with proper workmanship, void of errors, per the written specification and signed submittal drawings, per the scope of work timeframe defined. 2. Mod-U-Serve will thoughtfully remove existing serving lines and deliver to designated Donna ISD warehouse facility 3. Mod-U-Serve will remove an existing pony wall and make any patches to the flooring necessary with best-match tile. 4. Mod-U-Serve is to make all electrical and plumbing upgrades as necessary. 5. Mod-U-Serve will cut and cap any unnecessary utilities 6. Mod-U-Serve is to deliver, provide assembly, leveling and start-up of all equipment; make all final drain line runs and final electrical connections as specified; perform all necessary site visits prior to and during fabrication and for any field measurements; install and make all serving lines, buyout equipment and UL Listed Utility Risers ready for final electrical connections and perform all equipment start up 7. All paint, tile, and ceiling modifications/repair/replacement by Mod-U-Serve 8. Mod-U-Serve is responsible for removing all installation related trash and debris from the jobsite. 9. Upon final completion of the installation of the serving line, it is the responsibility of the Mod-U-Serve sales representative to provide and/or arrange for a thorough educational demonstration covering operation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance for all equipment installed on this project. 10. EXCLUSIONS: Any asbestos and/or mold abatement, removal, or remediation. ITEM NO. 5 Manufacturer:Everidge/ICS or Alternate Model: CUSTOM Quantity: ONE (1) each Dimensions: Drawings will be provided to awarded dealer Component: ICS One-Piece Walk-in Freezer ITEM NO. 6 TURNKEY FACTORY INSTALLATION OF FREEZER One Piece Walk-in Freezer Manufacturer (ICS) will provide turnkey factory installation: 1. Sawcut and demo asphalt where new concrete pad will go 2. Haul off and dispose of spent asphalt 3. Install 13' x 21' x 5" concrete pad for freezer 4. Concrete pad will he poured with 4000 psi concrete with fiber mesh 5. Sawcut existing sidewalk for conduit run 6. Install 60" x 60" condenser pad 7. Install new electrical circuit for freezer 8. Upgrade electrical to accommodate new freezer 9. Install six bollards in front of new exterior box 10. New walk-in cooler/freezer will arrive preassembled on a truck. Ensure that all power lines and other obstructions are moved to create clear path for installation. 11. Coordinate with ICS to ensure proper conditions are met prior to delivery. 12. CRANE: ICS will make arrangements for and be responsible for crane that will set unit on concrete pad and place refrigeration on roof of unit. 13. Once ICS unit has been set, CJR will make all final connections and ensure unit is properly functioning. 14. Dispose of all installation related debris and general clean up. 15. Does not include any mold remediation or removal. ITEM NO. 7 EXISTING COOLER MODIFICATIONS Modifications of existing cooler freezer in kitchen by Walk-in Freezer Manufacturer (ICS) 1. Penetrate interior wall and install trim to make walk through pass through 2. Adjust temp above freezing to cooling temps 3. Existing refrigeration equipment will be used 4. Lock door on right (facing) so that it cannot be used Vendor agrees to provide performance bonds and/or payment bonds as required by Texas law on specified contracts and/or projects, as applicable. DISD will include the performance and payment bonds requirement in the specifications section of any solicitation if performance bonds and/or payment bonds are required. Prevailing Wage Rates Vendor and all subcontractors of Vendor shall comply with all laws regarding wage rates including, but not limited to, Texas Government Code Chapter 2258 and any related federal requirements applicable to this Agreement and to this solicitation by DISD. Awards will be made to the successful proposer(s) for the total line of products and services submitted. Awards will be based on the criteria set forth within this document. DISD reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors if these vendors offer items that are unique and have value to DISD. DISD shall comply with the Texas Public Information Act in the event DISD receives an open records request for information relating to proposals submitted in response to this RFP.
