Student Center Renovation - Bid Package 01 The project generally consists of the demolition and renovation of the existing 26,000 square foot student center The Bid Package 01 scope of work is the renovation of the existing student center at the Galesburg campus location. WORK CATEGORY PACKAGES AVAILABLE - 06 General Works - 08 Glazing Systems - 9.1 Drywall/Acoustic Ceilings - 9.2 Flooring - 9.3 Painting & Coatings Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of Carl Sandburg College. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Provide (furnish and install) a complete glazing package per the contract documents. 2. Provide all aluminum glazing systems per the contract documents. Work to include interior/exterior framing systems, storefronts, aluminum glazed entrance doors, door hardware, specified glazing, flashings, trims, joint sealants (interior/exterior), prefinished window sill flashings, accessories, and miscellaneous materials as required. 3. Furnish and install exterior aluminum storefronts window systems per contract documents. 4. Furnish and install aluminum glazed entrance doors. Install only door hardware furnished by Work Category 06 General Works Contractor with the exception of door hardware that will come preapplied on the doors including, seals, weather-stripping, etc. 5. Furnish and install interior storefront window systems per the contract documents. 6. Provide all glazing per the contract documents. Work to include all glazing types shown/specified, sealants, tapes, and accessories. 7. Furnish and install all glazing to be installed into hollow metal frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, and aluminum doors. 8. All aluminum sills, membrane flashing, receptors, trims, flashings, rods, and sealants for a weathertight system. 9. Furnish and install all architectural window film per the contract documents. 10. Include multiple site visits for field measurements required to meet the preliminary construction schedule provided in the contract documents. 11. Removal of any window labels or manufacturers stickers and adhesive is the responsibility of this subcontractor. 12. Furnish and install all joint sealants associated with your work. This shall include all exterior & interior sealant joints, and any other sealant joint detailed in the documents. Provide sealants per the contract documents. 13. Furnish and install batt insulation at window frame shim spaces and crevices in exterior wall locations. 14. Furnish all NFRC ratings and reports as required. 15. This subcontractor is responsible for all work associated with any glazing stops including aluminum and hollow metal. Coordination with Work Category 06 General Works Contractor will be required.
