The proposed Work is generally described as follows: improvements to the existing 2.0 million gallon per day Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 2801 N Braeswood Blvd, Houston, TX 77025. Proposed WWTP improvements include electrical power service improvements, demolition of existing ground tank, demolition of existing air piping and coarse bubble diffusers and replacement with new fine and coarse bubble diffusers and pumps, treatment process optimization improvements, motor control center and control improvements, disinfection improvements, replacement of screw pumps with submersible pumps, installation of a mechanical step screen with a washer/compactor, installation of a grit chamber and grit classifier, a new control building, conversion of an existing sludge thickener into a digester, installation of security cameras, non-potable water system improvements, structural improvements, and other associated improvements for successful project completion, as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings.
