BOX 70 BENTON, LA 71006 mredmon@bossierparishla.gov An acceptable Bid Bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to Bossier Parish Police Jury in an amount not less than five-percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount. Any surety bond written for a public works project shall be written by a surety or insurance company on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service list of approved bonding companies which is published annually in the Federal Register, or by a Louisiana domiciled insurance company with at least an A-rating in the latest printing of the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide to write individual bonds up to ten percent of policy holders' surplus as shown in the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide or by an insurance company that is either domiciled in Louisiana or owned by Louisiana residents and is Licensed to write surety bonds. Contractor's License Number shall also be clearly shown on the outside of the bid envelope. The Bossier Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as provided for in LA R.S. 38:2214(B).
