Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The scope of work generally includes the construction of a raw water intake system and ancillary infrastructure for Beaver First Nation located in Boyer River. The Base Work to be performed under this Contract shall include, but not limited to, the labour, equipment, and materials required to complete the construction of a new externally mounted jib-crane, river submersible pump system, riverbank slope stabilization and modifications to the old WTP building. Refer to Contract Documents for full Scope of the Work. The Scope of the Work is described as, but not limited to, the following: Raw Water Intake System; .1 Receipt of the pre-selected equipment upon delivery; .2 Take delivery, off-loading, and placing into storage of all equipment supplied under the Supply Contract; .3 Installation of externally mounted 2-tonne jib-crane by the Ponton River bank, complete with foundation, electrical and control system; .4 Installation of the river submersible pump and associated fish screen/float assembly, complete with level control, piping, fittings and valves; .5 Construction of a new access road for raw water intake system site; .6 Construction of a gravel pad and fencing for raw water intake system site; .7 Construction of a rip-rap based riverbank slope stabilization; .8 Supply and installation of electrical and control equipment at the raw water intake system site as well as Old WTP building to support the operation of the jib-crane and river submersible pump system; .9 Modifications to the Old WTP building including upgrades to the man door, overhead door, removal and disposal of concrete housekeeping pads, lighting replacement, HVAC servicing and additional of portable lifting davit; .10 Coordinate installation training for the equipment. .11 Coordinate operation and maintenance training for the equipment. .12 Supply all required operation and maintenance manuals. .13 Demolition of selected works as per the Contract Documents; .14 Supply as-built drawings. .15 All other necessary works as per the Contract Documents.
