Reference number : 1856500 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-06-14 Electronically transmitted submission accepted: No Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 10 The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests (MRNF), through the Directorate of Operational Coordination within the General Directorate of Forest Management Coordination, wishes to require the professional services of a service provider for the evaluation inspection of steel-wood bridges, calculation of bearing capacity and a work proposal to obtain a bearing capacity of 60 tonnes for the CF3E configuration or 150 tonnes for the CFHN configuration. This is in accordance with Appendix 12 of the Regulation on the sustainable development of forests in the State domain as well as the Standard relating to bridges and removable structures in forests in the State domain. This call for tenders aims to award 2 service contracts aimed at the evaluation inspection and calculation of the bearing capacity totaling 138 steel-wood bridges in a forest environment distributed in the form of lots (lot 1 = 68 bridges and lot 2 = 70 bridges). The contract will begin on the date of signature and end no later than March 31, 2025. However, the work must begin within 15 days of signing the contract and end no later than December 30, 2024 for lot 1 and January 10, 2025 for lot 2. The estimated budget for carrying out the work subject to this call for tenders is between $95,200 to $133,280 for lot 1 and $98,000 to $137,200 for lot 2. The service provider does not must consider these orders of magnitude only as an indication and not as minimums and maximums. Furthermore, the Ministry suggests that bidders read article 2.3.5 concerning the delivery schedule and the penalties applicable in the event of delay. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
