Renovation of a residential development in Rome, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Siding Replacement Location: 6175 Dewey Road Rome, NY 13440 Scope of work for Siding replacement. Remove all existing wood clapboard siding, freeze boards, soffit & facia from house and garage. 1x4 door and window trim boards to be installed on building and covered with brake metal as part of siding job. Prep exposed walls as necessary, replace any areas of sub-standard sheathing with like sized plywood. NO OSB SHEATHING ALLOWED. Contractor to include in bid allowance of five (5) sheets plywood. Install 3/8" fan-fold foil insulation/leveling board to all areas removed, all seems to be taped, sealed. Install double 4" traditional vinyl siding: .042 thickness or equal. A. Existing wood box chimney is to be sided to match building walls. B. Project Manager to choose color of siding and trim prior to start. Build out any necessary trim at doors and windows to equal no less than J-channel depth. A. Trim coil to be smooth painted 22 ga. Color to be chosen prior to start by project manager. No face nailing of trim coil will be allowed below eves. No raw cuts allowed on break metal overlaps. All lap joints will be under bent. All building soffits to be perforated aluminum and will install at bottom of fascia board. Ceilings of covered entry(s) to be washed and 2 coated with solid color stain, matching trim coil as close as possible. Metal handrails to be sanded and finished with industrial metal paint matching existing color as close as possible. Wood support columns to be wrapped with break metal trim. All lights, spickets, wall outlets to have siding color mount master trim blocks. Remove and replace all existing rain gutters for install of new fascia. Properly dispose of all siding removals/debris. Daily clean-up of work areas; no exception. No storage of materials in emergency exit pathways. Bid price to include all materials, labor, dump fees and site clean-up. Final acceptance of completed job by project manager. Work performed will meet all applicable NYS Building Codes and NYS Electric Codes. The work of this project shall be done in a manner to interfere as little as possible with the functioning of the residential or program site. Contractor is to remove and dispose of all debris from the residential or program site. Work is to be done between the hours of time and time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Any unforeseen conditions that may alter the price quoted are to be reported to the Maintenance Supervisor listed above immediately. Any damage as a result of the work to the site or property is the sole responsibility of the contractor.
