Completed plans call for the addition of a 16,632-square-foot, one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility; for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.

Richmond County Public Services Building The work includes General, Plumbing Mechanical, Electrical and Site work to be constructed under a Lump-Sum Single Prime Contract. The extent of the work is shown on the drawings and specified in the project manual. The work includes, but is not limited to, renovations to an existing 11,529 square foot, one story office-warehouse building and the addition of a 5,103 square foot, attached, multi-purpose facility. The Project Time will be 480 calendar days to Substantial Completion. Each Bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on a bank of trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation made payable to Richmond County in an amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the base Bid or by a bond in the above amount executed in accordance with and conditioned as prescribed by G.S. 143-129, State of North Carolina. If the successful bidder fails to give satisfactory surety as required by law, the Owner will retain the above deposit. All contractors are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades.
