Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This work is to be bid only by KUB pre-qualified contractors in the following areas: 2.2 Wastewater Construction, Unlimited. Required Substantial Completion of 300 days Notice to Proceed on or before July 31, 2024 Question Deadline 07/03/2024 at 4:00 PM ET The Bidding Documents contain the information required for the construction of the Project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the OWNER in writing. CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required for rehabilitation/installation of approximately 2,910 LF of 8-inch via CIPP; approximately 9,027 LF of 8-inch via Pipe Bursting; approximately 865 LF of 8-inch PVC via Open Cut; 43 4-foot diameter precast manholes; 1 4-foot diameter external drop precast manhole; 260 VF of cementitious lining of 4-foot diameter manholes; and 121 sewer laterals to be reinstated via open cut, CIPP Lateral Lining, and/or Cut and Buff. Additionally, 500 LF of existing sewers are to be abandoned via grouting in place. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to restore the Site to a condition equal to or better than the Site condition which existed prior to the initiation of the Work activities.
