Engineer's Estimate: $55,000.00 Project Description: This Contract is for Field Mowing and Brush Clearing along the DISTRICT'S Interurban Trail Corridor as set forth in the Specifications. Except as otherwise noted herein, the CONTRACTOR shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies required to field mow and brush clear along the Interurban Trail corridor once per year. Work under this contract is categorized as Routine Landscape Maintenance and Scheduled Maintenance. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS CONTRACTORS who have recently had landscape contracts terminated by the DISTRICT for poor performance shall not be eligible to bid on this RFP for a period of three (3) years from receipt of termination letter. All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to bids@snopud.com. The District will not guarantee responses to questions received via other forms of communication (phone, voicemail, text, IM, etc.). Do not submit questions via online Electronic submittals shall be limited to the documents specified in the RFP document and shall not include additional brochures, booklets or other sales material that are not specifically requested in the RFP. The District cannot guarantee internet access. It is strongly recommended that you respond 24 hours prior to the bid closing date and time for submittal. The District is unable to verify if a proposal has been successfully uploaded online. The online system places all proposal submissions into a virtual lock box where they cannot be viewed by the District until after the due date and time. If a Proposer uploads a file to online, it is the Proposer's responsibility to ensure the file is not corrupt or damaged. If the District is unable to open an attachment because it is damaged, corrupt, infected, etc., the District may disqualify the Proposer's submission. . Each bid must be accompanied by proof of bid security which guarantees the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, excluding tax. The District reserves the right to waive minor errors or irregularities in any bid if it appears to the District that such errors or irregularities were made through inadvertence and are not material. Any errors or irregularities so waived must be corrected on the bid on which they occur prior to the execution of any Contract which may be awarded thereon. Each bid shall be deemed a firm offer continuing for sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of the bids. No bid may be withdrawn after the time set for bid opening, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. The Commission reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid or bids which, in its sole and absolute judgment, will under all circumstances best serve the interests of the District. Prior to the signing of the Contract, and within ten (10) days after the Contractor is notified that the Contractor is the successful bidder, the Contractor shall furnish the District with performance security in the amount of 100% of the total Contract price, including tax, or such other amount as the District deems necessary, which shall cover the full, faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder.
