Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Working plans call for the construction of a 213,000-square-foot, four-story above grade, 176-unit, 600-bed educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; recreation facility; fitness / recreation center; playground / park / athletic field; and retail development.
Plans call for a four story, 213,000 square foot apartment complex at the Purdue Campus as part of a public-private partnership. Project will be near Ginsberg Hall on the North Campus. Housing options range from studios to four bedroom apartments with 600 beds across 176 units. Half of the beds will be reserved for students contracting with Purdue University for housing and the rest will be available to other area students for direct leasing. Project will also include a convenience store, fitness center, gaming room, quiet study spaces, lounges and multi-purpose spaces. Outside will have a hammock farm, green spaces, sand volleyball court, basketball court, grilling areas and fire pits. As of June 21, 2024, preliminary work is anticipated to begin in October 2024 and the project is anticipated to be completed before the beginning of the 2026 fall semester. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
