Site work for a civil project in Swalwell, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
On behalf of Kneehill County, McElhanney is planning to replace an existing bridge that carries Range Road 242 over an unnamed tributary to Threehills Creek, located at NE-3-32-24-W4M, in Kneehill County, Alberta (Appendix A). The crossing replacement will involve replacing the existing structure with a corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert structure (the Project) (see Appendix B - Site Plan). The proposed project will also involve the installation of rip-rap on both ends of the new crossing structure to inhibit erosion of the watercourse banks at the crossing location.
