Parks Division Irrigation Supplies. Estimated Quantities The quantities furnished under this Bid are to be considered as approximate only and are to be used solely for the comparison of Bids received. The City does not expressly or by implication represent that the actual quantities involved will correspond exactly therewith; nor shall the Bidder plead misunderstanding or deception because of such estimate in accordance with the Specifications. Quantities may be increased or diminished. The Agreement admitted Corporate Surety Bonds and other documents to be executed by the Contractor shall be executed in original; stamped according to law, and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Redlands. The successful Bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Agreement will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material bond, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. Said bonds shall provide that if the Contractor or their Subcontractor fails to pay for any materials, supplies or items used in, upon, for or about the performance of the work contracted to be done, or for any work of labor thereon of any kind, or for amounts due under the Unemployment Insurance Act or Worker's Compensation, with respect to such work or labor, that the surety or sureties will pay for the same. The City reserves the right to order changes in the scope of work and resulting contract. The successful Bidder has the right to request an equitable price adjustment in cases where modifications to the contract under the authority of this clause result in increased costs to the contractor. Price adjustments will be based on the unit prices proposed by the Bidder in response to this solicitation. Any contract resulting from this solicitation may be modified upon written and mutual consent of both parties. Products will be delivered to 1270 W. Park Avenue, Building K, Redlands, CA 92373, on an as needed basis. Products may also be requested occasionally on an "emergency" basis when needed. Same day service (will call) is required and facility providing quote must be within a 10 mile radius of the City's Corporate Yard located at 1270 W. Park Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373.
