Under these Specifications the Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 11,500 linear feet of 12-inch, 10-inch, and 8-inch diameter PVC sewer pipeline including all shoring and bracing per California Labor Code, performing excavation, trenching, rock excavation, construction dewatering, haul off and disposal of unsuitable materials, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, providing and placing imported fill, bedding, backfill, pre-cast concrete manholes with lining per EMWD and Western Municipal Water District standards, rechanneling existing sewer manholes, trenching through and repair of existing low water crossing, traffic control, sewer flow bypass, demolition of the Clark Street Lift Station including salvage of identified components and transport to District facilities, abandonment of approximately 2,700 linear feet of the existing 6-inch diameter PVC force main and 100 linear feet of the existing 8-inch diameter PVC sewer, obtaining a County of Riverside well destruction permit and performing the destruction of two existing groundwater monitoring wells per permit requirements, pavement removal, replacement and resurfacing per encroachment permit, protection in place of existing monuments or, if not possible, performing tie out by a licensed surveyor in the State of California, retying and resetting following construction and filing a record of survey with Riverside County.
