Water System Improvements Scope of Work The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, services and supplies to: Provide clearing, tree removal and demolition as needed to construct the RPPUD water system improvements. Construct new 6 inch and 8 inch diameter Class 305 AWWA C900- 07 or CL 350 DIP water distribution mains. Construct new 4 inch diameter Class 305 AWWA C900-07 or CL 350 DIP water supply lines. Construct 1 diameter water services, water meter boxes and water meters. Reconnect new water services to existing water service lines. Furnish and install fire hydrants and hydrant valves; remove existing hydrants where indicated on the Plans. Furnish and install AWWA C509 resilient wedge gate valves and gate valve boxes Furnish and install water main appurtenances including, but not limited to, combination air release, vacuum relief valves and valve boxes, blow off valves and valve boxes, sample stations, blind flanges, water main fittings, tees, connections as necessary for complete water distribution and water supply piping improvements. Install pressure reducing valve stations, valve vaults and covers Complete water supply connections at RPPUD Well #2 / 3R. Complete coating, repairs, inlet, outlet and overflow piping improvements at Jaybird Lane Tank. Construct 225,000 gallon capacity pre-stressed concrete water storage tank together with inlet and outlet piping, overflow pipe, drain pipe, interior and exterior ladders, tank level monitor and level transmitting equipment, tank grading, perimeter subdrain, excavation, site fence, gates and site work as shown on the Plans. Furnish and install lighting and miscellaneous electrical improvements at the New Circle Avenue Tank Site and at the existing Jaybird Lane Tank Site. Extend existing electric service from the existing Circle Avenue Tank Site to the new Circle Avenue Tank Site. Remove and backfill to existing adjacent surfaces existing 65,000 gallon Circle Avenue Concrete Tank and concrete chlorine contact basin after new 225,000 gallon capacity water storage tank is constructed, inspected, accepted by the District, filled, disinfected and completely operational.
