Remove existing Krone 8" Flow Meter and replace with new Khrone 8" Optiflux 2000 KC F/6 Flow Meter, IFC 300-F transmitter and flow tube, per Section I, Scope of Work/Description of Items (Specifications) Mandatory Site-Visit - see attached Quick Quote solicitation for details. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS (SPECIFICATIONS) The purpose of this Quick Quote is to establish a contract with one (1) Contractor to furnish and install one (1) 8- inch Optiflux KC F/6 Khrone Effluent Flow Meter (transmitter IFC 300-F and flow tube), or approved equivalent at the St. Brides Correctional Center, Water Treatment Plant located at 701 Sanderson Road, Chesapeake, VA 23328. Contractor shall: 1. Provide all tools, labor, equipment, materials, incidentals and supervision to complete the work. 2. Remove existing Khrone flow meter, transmitter and flow tube. 3. Furnish and install new Khrone 8-inch Optiflux KC F/6 Effluent Flow Meter, Khrone IFC 300-F Transmitter and flow tube or approved equivalent. Flow tube signal cable to be potted with IP68 rating. 4. Install the flow tube inside the vault. 5. Start up and test flow meter and test for proper operation. 6. Provide updated calibration certificate. CLARIFICATION OF TERMS: If any prospective bidder has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, the prospective bidder should contact the buyer whose name appears on the face of the solicitation no later than five working days before the due date. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the buyer. TESTING AND INSPECTION: The Commonwealth reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications. BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD: Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for (60) days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. METHOD OF PAYMENT: The Contractor will be paid upon completion of service and acceptance by the Purchasing Agency. A valid invoice shall be submitted to the Purchasing Agency at the address provided on the purchase order. Payment will be made via Small Purchase Charge Card, ePayable, EDI or check in accordance with the prompt payment Act of Virginia.
