Replace compromised 12" Ductile Iron pipe section in Raw Water Influent Line at our Chemical Containment Trench at City of Hartford. Required: - Install SDR17 HDPE Piping - Remove any obstructive, auxiliary piping and/or conduit - Remove existing Ductile piping (Approximately 40 feet) from the pipe trench and up to the flanged 90-degree, overhead fitting - Excavate outside of the Treatment Building to expose and remove the existing Ductile piping (Approximately 10 feet) back to the MH 90 fitting in the ground - Remove the remaining section of Ductile Piping from the concrete wall - Reestablish, possibly repair, the Pipe Trench Drain and wash out the pipe trench - Install 12: HDPE piping in place of the old piping - Install a Plastic 12" Butterfly Valve with a stem and manual operation handwheel, extended above the walk grate for access - Install a 12" Wafer-Style Mixing Plate in the new pipeline - Seal the concrete wall at the pipe intrusion - Backfill, seed, and straw the excavated area - Install (2) 12" Saddles with 3/4 " Ball Valves and connect to appropriate, existing auxiliary piping - Install pipe straps to secure the pipeline to the existing concrete piers - Reconnect all necessary auxiliary piping and /or conduit - Install Fiberglass Walk Grates over Pipe Trench, in place of existing Aluminum Grates - Ensure there are no leaks in the new pipeline The bid price should include the above work including labor, materials, and equipment to complete this project.
