Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Part of the South section of the Ontario Line, the Riverside Leslieville Station is northeast along the Joint Corridor, the tracks will enter the Riverside/Leslieville Station at Queen Street East. Riverside/Leslieville station entrances will be located on the north and south sides of Queen Street East and will be at grade at the corner of Queen St E, and De Grassi St. An alternate entrance is proposed at the southeast corner of Queen St E and Strange St. The station platform will be elevated and span over Queen Street East. The station location facilitates transfer of passengers to and from the TTC streetcar access. Riverside/Leslieville station entrances will be located on the north and south sides of Queen Street East and will be at grade. Station platform will be elevated and span over Queen Street East. The station location facilitates transfer of passengers to and from the TTC streetcar. TIMELINE: The owner is in consultation with City of Toronto and community partners. Concept planning is underway. Further design, tender and construction timing is not finalized. *A contact at the architect is not released at this time.
