Contract Id 54-MKB-14-PR7674 WBS: 14RE.104438 County: Haywood - Division 14 Location: I-40, East and Westbound Lanes, Mile Marker 10, Near the Nc/tn Stateline Type of Work: Professional Lawn and Grounds Maintenance of Rest Areas Haywood County Rest Areas (pair)/Welcome Center on I-40, East and Westbound Lanes, Mile Marker 10 East of the NC/TN Stateline. The Department encourages and promotes the growth, development, and continuation of competent Contractors that can perform the work necessary under this contract. The Departments procurement process is built on the principle of competition. The Department believes that the specifications and requirements under this contract are reasonable to satisfy the need for services requested, but are not unduly restrictive, in order to encourage competition in the open market. In furtherance of these principles, bidders are not required to be prequalified for this contract. All references to prequalification of bidders are hereby waived for this contract. Small Business Certification Mandatory For the first year of this contract, the Contractor agrees to a Performance Guarantee consisting of five (5) per cent less than the amount of the line item bid price for Provide Professional Lawn and Grounds Maintenance The date of availability September 1, 2024 Completion Date: August 31, 2025 NCDOT - Professional Lawn and Grounds Maintenance of Rest Areas
