Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a satisfactory bidder's bond, executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed in the State of Michigan, payable to the County of St. Clair, Michigan, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid total as specified in the Bid and Contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn, changed, or modified in any way for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the bid opening. Submittal of a Bid by a Bidder's firm constitutes an offer to perform the work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bid and Contract documents unless the bid is withdrawn by the Bidder prior to the scheduled bid opening or is rejected by the Owner as further provided in the Instructions to Bidder.
