Renovation of a medical facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 9,000-square-foot medical facility.
St. Paul's Hospital (SPH) Kidney Health Services renovation project in Saskatoon, funded by the St. Paul's Hospital Foundation (SPHF). The project involves the expansion of existing space for Kidney Services through significant renovations to SPH 2nd floor north B-wing. The space (approximately 9000 sq. ft.) has been vacant for more than 20 years. This expansion would accommodate an expanded chronic kidney disease (CKD) management program for CKD care; space for a kidney health transition of care unit; space for a dialysis access program; and space for Home-Based Therapies (HBT) (i.e., peritoneal dialysis (PD) and home hemodialysis (HHD)) clinics and training. TIMELINE: Project is in early planning stages. The consultant was to develop a business case, programming study, and conceptual plans for the project. Schedules for design and construction may be confirmed in 2026. *Budget to be determined.
