Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a educational facility.
The City of Union City Sports Turf Management Department is requesting bids for the resurfacing of the Middle School Tennis Courts located at the corner of S Taylor Street & E Florida Avenue in Union City, TN. The City of Union City, TN reserves the right to refuse and all bids for any reason. It is the policy of the City of Union City, TN not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability in its hiring and employment practices, or in admission to, access to, or operation of its programs, services or activities. Contractor will be responsible for: 1. Following the TCA guidelines for contractor bids and insurance. All guidelines are included with the bid specifications. 2. Completing all work on the project within 45 (Forty-five) days, weather permitting, of the start date which will be between the dates of July 1, 2024 - July 20, 2024. 3. Removing net posts & nets from the facility. 4. Clearing the current playing surface of paint, and other surfaces that would impair a smooth playing surface once finished. 5. Filling cracks and crevices in concrete for a smooth playing surface 6. Preparing the playing surface for the new paint 7. Resurfacing the courts using USTA specifications to include all lines be a bright white; all common area be USTA Green; and the in-play area of the court be USTA Blue. 8. Replacing all net posts & nets with new product after resurfacing.
