Renovation of a fire / police facility in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of August 8, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications. The work generally consists of removal of the existing mechanical equipment, and purchasing and installation of the new mechanical equipment and components for a complete, code compliant, and fully operational installation per the contract documents. Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield. Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: Executive Order #34 (1976) Debarred Vendors N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33, Disclosure of Ownership) N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (P.L. 2004, c.57, Business Registration) N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.25, et. seq. (P.L. 1963, c.150, Prevailing Wages) N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.48 (Public Works Contractor Registration) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Compliance/EEO) N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 (P.L. 2012, c.25, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran) 42 U.S.C. S121 01 et seq. (Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990)
