Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 33,633-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

a. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings and specified herein. b. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. c. General Description of Work (1) Project consists of interior renovation of two existing spaces inside an the first floor of a lab building. Work includes complete finishing of an empty space and renovations to an existing lab space. Existing corridor space will be used for new MEP routing and some ceiling work will be required in this space. (2) Demolition shall consist of removal of existing equipment, finishes, ceilings, flooring and saw cutting as necessary. (3) Architectural work shall consist of new partitions, a door being replaced, windows removed, casework removed and replaced with new and installation of new equipment. (4) Structural work is not anticipated. (5) Mechanical work shall consist of removal of existing system and installation of new as needed. (6) Electrical work shall consist of removal of lighting and power and installation of new lighting and power as necessary for new equipment.
