Project Description: Bainbridge Water Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Questions Due Date: Jun 6th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. All questions shall be submitted using the Bidding Documents Website (PennBID). Chestnut Street Water Main Replacement Project. The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of approximately 1,630 L.F. of water main, replacement of approximately 32 service connections, installation of 4 fire hydrants, interconnections with existing water mains, a stream crossing, surface restoration, and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the Contract Documents. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Contract No. 2024-01: General Construction. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case this Bid shall remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). All bidders are hereby notified that in regard to any contract pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability or national origin in consideration for an award.
