The Muscle Shoals City Board of Education ("Board") is soliciting bids from contractors who are interested in providing commercial, solid waste collection and disposal services for all its Schools ("Services") for up to five (5) years (the "Contract"). The successful contractor shall provide all trash dumpsters and carts, equipment, labor, vehicles, personnel, and ancillary resources needed to perform the Services pursuant to the Specifications and other requirements in the Bidder Information materials being provided with this Bid. Questions about the Specifications or other bid materials should be directed in writing to Mr. Pearson at his email address. The award will be made to the contractor with the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all submitted bids, and waive any informality related to the bids. Term of Contract. This Contract and the period for Services will commence on September 1, 2024 and continue in effect until August 31, 2025 (the "Term"). Following the Initial Term, the Contract may be renewed annually at the same term and conditions up to a maximum of four (4) years upon agreement of both parties. The Initial Term and any Renewal Term may be collectively referenced herein as the "Term".
