Renovation of an educational facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Owner is soliciting interested electrical contractors to submit SOQ to conduct a pre-qualification process. It is proposed that the incoming sections of the switchgear up to the primary meter would be replaced by Eversource as the electrical service demark to feed the RCC Main Campus. The equipment is nearly 40-years old and is at the end of its useful life. The operational condition of the equipment is unknown, but the exterior enclosure shows signs of corrosion, and replacement parts if required would be difficult to source. Roxbury Community College is requesting Electrical Prime Contractors to submit SOQs for the replacement of the existing switchgear. The new equipment would be placed on a new concrete pad, installed by the Contractor. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Estimated Cost $1,200,000
